Is DigiPromise free to use?
DigiPromise is completely free to use. And you can make as many pledges as you like.

Are there any restrictions to the pledges I can make?
DigiPromise reserves the right to delete pledges which promote or incite illegal behaviour. Any pledges that contain swear-words or could generally be considered offensive will be deleted or hidden from public view. Users who repeatedly post offensive pledges will be prevented from using the site.
Can I hide my pledge from public view?
We at DigiPromise know that some people are shy about publicity. If you do not want your pledge to be publicly viewable, then you can always select the 'private pledge' option. You can do this by logging in, going to 'Account', choosing 'My Promises' and then clicking on the promise you wish to hide from public view. This will ensure that your pledge can only be seen by you.
What should I do when I complete or fail my promise?
If you are being honest with yourself and with others, like all DigiPromise users should be, you will go to your promise as described above and let everyone know whether you have succeeded gloriously or failed miserably. You can also delete promises.
Can I invite friends to support me in my promise?
Promises are more likely to be kept when you have the support of friends or family. You can request that friends support you by going to your promise as described above and entering the name and email address of your friend.
Do I have to support my friends?
If you do not want to offer support to your friend (being a cold-hearted person), then you do not have to accept your friend's request for support and can instead watch them persevere on their own.
Who can see my email address?
DigiPromise will never disclose your email address to anyone, unless we have obtained your permission first or are obliged to by law. We do everything in our power to protect your email address and personal details so that you can pledge in peace.
Once you have my email address, will you send me spam?
We at DigiPromise hate spam. We promise that the only emails you will receive from DigiPromise will relate to your pledge. We will send daily or weekly emails about your pledge, which will cease as soon as you delete or complete the pledge. We will never give out or sell your email address, unless obliged to by law.

Larrytech designed the site under instruction from cooperation with Thomas Lowe. We received help from principal test users, including Josh Barnes, Rob Jones, and many others.
